Mike Kreidler has introduced a health insurance plan that covers everyone regardless of citizenship.  This plan covers preventive care and everything over $10,000.  It will be funded  by a payroll tax of 1% employee paid and up to 5% employer paid.

There are many questions about the plan, the largest is what if I want to keep my company plan?  An other question is how much will a supplement plan cost to cover the under $10,000 deductable.

The main problem I see is this is more of the one size fits all. What we need is more choices not less. If a family has two workers outside of the home they pay twice. How about the part-time student worker.  Check back later for more questions about his plan.
